Message: Push to Nasdaq

I would like to see POET traded on the TSE (big board) as well as the NASDAQ. However, as long as they remain a Canadian company Canadian shareholders shares are treated as shares in a Canadian company even if they only trade on NASDAQ. My only concern is the statement that they are consolidating their Toronto-Connecticut-San jose footprint and bringing the bulk of our operations to Silicon Valley. Are they intending on becoming a U.S. company? That would change things for Canadian share holders. One may want to question POET on this. In the meantime...

Canadian Companies Traded on Foreign Stock Exchanges

There are many Canadian companies traded on foreign stock exchanges. Make sure you don't include these as foreign investments.

Lululemon is a Canadian company with head office in Vancouver. It trades only on the Nasdaq in North America. It dropped its TSE listing in 2013.
