Heinz44: This is not pnp selling .this is not sheldon selling, this is not ibk selling IT is You selling

In my humble opinion "we" are comprising two factions:

  1. Those who want to make much money fast and who had exaggerated expectations in the CC. For them, the CC was bad news, because the money won't come in as soon as they thought. These are those who are selling.
  2. Those who derived their expectations from the CC announcement. For them, the CC was good news, because it brought what they expected. They received a couple of good news (which will still have to dissected in detail) and they received the message that this team is building a company that is grounded, standalone, solid, and intended to last. They heard that their company has a product – or better: a class of products – that is unique, needed, and unhampered by competition. These are those who are not selling. And you know that I am in this camp.

This goes in line with Peter Copetti's message regarding the $20 millions which will fuel the company for eight quarters:

  1. Having a lot of money in the company's coffers is bad news for camp 1. Why? If the company had little money only (setting the option of a financing round aside), it would have to close a deal on short term to bring in the much needed money. If that happened, there would be the quick revenue, and the "make money fast" folks would be happy. But now: no quick deal, no happiness. :-(
  2. The same scenario is good news for all the long-termers. The company is not pressed to close the next best deal, but instead it can take the time it needs to ponder all the options, select the optimal one(s) and execute the necessary measures. This will take more time until the money starts streaming in, but once it comes, the stream will likely grow to become a torrent. As a minimum, this model should come with less risk.
