They are adding those statements to comply with SEC disclosure regulations in the US. They have been present already in other items submitted to the SEC previously like the AIF and Form 20-F.

The audience for Poet is increasingly in the US, so the nature of disclosure has to match SEC rules, which are more stringent than the TSX venture rules.
