Message: One man's view

For those attending the last AGM, myself included, it took no extra cognative skills to conclude these men were among the elite scientists, engineers, and managers They all came from senior management positions and are used to doing things on a big scale and being successful at it. It was evident they had leadership skills and charisma. Not only that, they passed screening by Ajit, and Geoff who's credibility speaks for itself. I think it was brilliant to assign the new men on the board independant assignments, for "go forward plans", for POET Technology. That enviroment leads to more creative ideas, and more like a competitive assignment to uncover possibly overlooked or underutilitized aspects for POET. To think big. Of course once submitted they were peer reviewed, evaluated and disected, and the best and most practical ideas blended into a cohesive game plan. I bet for a lot of the technology it was an automatic. Knowing the industry needs and the direction it is headed, and what POET makes possible. But I have the feeling that exercize instilled a sense of unity and ownership in our company and technology as we move forward. You could detect a passion in their indiviual talks as this stuff is right in their wheelhouse. I think they love it. Their training includes not only development of innovations into a executable, scalable format, automated at that, It also includes working and inspiring the people who will work together as a team. This isn't easy work,so in my mind it requires enthusisam, energy. I also think they are on the cusp of disruptive techology that could shange the course of big and small processing, and actuall contribute to huge savings in energy and speed. That would be inspiring. I have been accumulating smaller blocks of stock at these prices while I can. I think we are in store for a number of surprises Wednesday afternoon with the CC. I think in some respects we don't even know all the right questions to ask, but I did see some good ones on this board, but they are experts in the field, with contacts, relationships, markets, and a deep understanding of what we have here. :-) GLTA
