Hi QuantumX,
Thanks for your series of brilliant posts lately. You have been very prolific. Your last post about the work at MIT and IBM astounds me. What they are attempting is straight out of the POET handbook. What they are lacking is exactly what we offer. Lasers embedded in monolithic IC's, along with the channels to prevent photon leakage. It kind of reminds me of a quote from Henry Ford. He said (paraphrased) "If I had asked the people what they wanted they would have said faster horses". MIT has the right idea but got inferior results because they're using the wrong medium. Silicon won't lase. The industry is stuck on Silicon. Galluim Arsinide will - When POET pulls back its veil of secrecy we will rock the world. Hopefully that will occur at the end of this month with the CC. Even if we just get an update of current events, the feeling I get is the Board is knowledgable and skilled enough take this technology, this company to its full potential. The potential is truley disruptive in the highest form or the term. Yes we are waiting patiently. IMO GTLA B/T
