absolutely.
a) oogee didn't post any such thing; he posted USPTO link for one of the PTK filings, along with the link to a comparison from 2012 that the examiner used. what post by oogee are you reading?
b) the Mercury material that longzzzzz necro'd was from 2010; their supposed claim to a POET trademark (other than in their own marketing and advertising) has never been supported with evidence. Somebody shows me an active USPTO filing by Mercury and I'll shut up about it.
