Mr Ajit Manocha's profile looks unmanaged. I believe it also looks unprofessional.
Luckily the first result of a Google search brings up a somewhat informative Wiki article that associates Manocha with his current role (Executive Vice Chairman of the Board) at POET.
In light of "oz4m2's"post a few minutes ago outlining Manocha's general itinerary for the next two months; I thought it would be a good time for a quick update of Mr Ajit Manocha's LinkedIn account. It is unmanaged, unprofessional, and totally lacks any association with his current role at POET. A quick look at his colleague's (and former colleague’s) profiles and we can see at least a fraction of an effort made toward their accounts, and at least a mention of POET.
For examples, see: Dr. Suresh Venkatesan - Chief Executive Officer at POET Technologies; Stephane Gagnon - [current] Vice President - Communications Research Centre, [former] Chief Operating Officer, etc.
When I directed my concerns to Mr Christopher Chu he mentioned that Mr Ajit Manocha is, “… in a sense is his own franchise so what he does when not on POET time is not within our control.” I agree with this but Manocha is also being paid by POET, why can he not acknowledge that via his LinkedIn account. To be fair, Chu also mentioned Manocha’s previous “… operating history building and selling chips [with GLOBALFOUNDRIES] far outweighs POET at this current juncture in time.” (May, 2015)
P.S. - not sure about the formatting on this site but it isn't very friendly with me (also, permalink would be a good option).
