Ajit personally told me at the AGM that certain information propagated on blogs(blogs being a blanket term, IMO) did not help his cause and that it scares people when information is made public about their plans without their wanting it to be public. He told me he had certain instances where he had to re-work a relationship.

So there you have it, that's why it's nice to be cautious sometimes, whether it is "public" information is not the debate, IMO, it's how much that information gets propagated. ie: Accurate Rumours.
