People have been known to, shall we say, "stretch the truth" a bit on their resumes (heck, almost any resume would axiomatically contain favorable bias).
Here's another theory, Jingming knew that CV would be found and hoped that people would push the price of the stock up based on the implication that certain previously unconfirmed milestones or events have actually happened.
The first theory is a longshot, the second makes the first seem like a sure thing, so in all likelihood, neither theory is correct, and the CV is fairly accurate; I'm sure Jingming realizes that potential employers often do double check resumes for accuracy.
I would think, though, that potential employers who read the CV are more of a danger than someone coming to this board to spy on POET (although it wouldn't be a bad place to start, frankly). One difference is, though, someone from POET might well nudge Jingming and ask him to cool it (a veiled threat that Jingming is doing something in contravention of some duty or agreement), and to please revise his resume some, so the spread of the info could be limited somewhat, whereas if the unedited (assuming Jingming does indeed edit his resume) version remained on this board, well, the info stays out there longer.
Lots of interesting stuff out there today! And it all seems favorable to the company's prospects.
