I decided to read the whole MD&A tonight, with that idea in mind that POET might have this new plan on the table to go for more than just IP revenues from licencing agreements (lot of speculation on my mind regarding the event that would have led to this change in direction), but anyways, I found this change in the wording that I think wasn't pointed out here by any poster. My plan at first wasn't to compare the two documents, but when I saw this it just felt new to me, so I went to the previous MD&A to compare, and there was a difference. It's in line with this scenario many here are speculating on since we know about POET looking to secure wafers supply, "dropping" the milestones, etc. Maybe it means nothing, but here it is anyways:
Under "Business overview", page 2
March 31, 2015 (old) :
" The Company is currently positioned as a semiconductor process IP company, with an aim to leverage existing and potential relationships in establishing a POET design and manufacturing value chain, and in commercializing POET IP based devices. "
June 30, 2015 (new) :
" The Company is currently positioned as an opto-electronic product and IP Company, with an aim to leverage existing and potential relationships in establishing a POET design and manufacturing value chain, and in commercializing POET IP. "
