Message: Who was poets NR for?

I feel this NR was to let the public know the direction that the company is headed. I really don't think management is too worried if this drops below a dollar, but if it drops too low that may stop some investors from exercising warrants which would result in less cash in the bank. I'm not saying at all that they don't care about retail shareholders but their eye is on the prize, and sometimes climbing the mountain can be a little harder then the people watching from the bottom.

I am over the moon excited about the wafer manufacturer portion, it appears they don't need 1, 10, or maybe 20 wafers, they are planning for a real production run. The amount of chips that can be made from a wafer is quite large, keeping in mind a GaAs wafer will cost around the $5k mark plus expitaxy time (obviously the cost will drop with numbers).

So now management has altered the milestones to create a commercially viable product in the shortest time possible, why would they do this if they could not build a VCSEL or a 40nm transistor? Why has the new CEO been the new propulsion behind bringing the optical side to market ASAP, I know he is a very educated man with a passion, a passion to really make a difference! What has he seen that we haven't that makes him tick? I don't believe that its options in the red, he still wakes up in the morning with the idea that this company can really change the foundation of electronics.

Yes I do feel the direction of the company may have changed priority, I felt that PET would hit the market first, but I think it's clear that optical interconnects will be the low hanging fruit and will lay the ground structure to blow the roof off this stand. I am very excited that we have so much talent on board to drive this to market, and that Dr Taylor is investing the larger portion of his time back in the lab doing exactly what he loves like he has over the past 25 years. I feel that this shows confidence in his own work that he knows he has the best team working around the clock to make his dreams and ours a reality.
