There are a lot of very interesting R&D areas and projects, including molecular electronics. We have discussed several of them on this board. Nearly everything is just that: R&D.

We have yet to see any solution that is as close to production and as close to commercialization as POET, let alone anything that would have a such a broad range of possible applications as POET.
