PassionateIgnorance, I certainly agree with "see it as a positive"
It is a difficult situation. We want updates, and previously got some, but these turned out to have poor timelines on them (or so it seems, could be more to it than how it is perceived, not to mention the difference between something "done" and "announced"). So we complain when we had updates, but the timing seemed off. We also complain when there are no updates. Imagine trying to keep us happy (ultimately it will be a significantly higher SP that makes us happy - that is why I am here still and I believe it will happen, in a big way - I just have no idea of when).
I strongly believe what really matters is the execution and getting the technology adopted, not "fluff" news. Without a company willing to adopt the technology, even if POET "has the goods", it is a failure. I personally will let management execute the plan (I can't do anything else anyways except sell, which I do not plan to do), but I also hope we hear something soon, unless it might jeopardize the end result. If there is any chance of this, I prefer silence over "here is what we got", soon followed by "the deal fell through because we said too much". We do not have many facts of late, but I do have a fact in that the POET management knows a lot more about how to approach the monetization than I do.
Been frustrating for sure, a reversal soon is hopefully coming, not to mention some news of significance (please!!!).
