Point to point is the name given to a much enjoyed form of amateur jump racing in the UK. There are many fallers at these events and the riders are very brave people in my view. This is of course totaly irrelevent to the aim of my post except that I wish to highlight a nasty little scheme regarding points which is going on here. I suspect many of you will have already got some inkling of this.

It is quite clear to me that there has been a concerted effort to attack the rating of certain Board Leaders and Posters on this board, to the extent that FJ was for a period removed from the list of board leaders and Rob score moved to the brink. I know of several others including myself whose scores have been attacked and in my own case my rating dropped 10% which made me think I was just passed my sell by date and perhaps it was time to move to the sidelines. Incidentally, have others noticed that many of the valued posters of the past years have now stopped posting and are now just sitting on the side lines a number have PM'd me to this effect.

Does this matter? Well not really in the sense that everyone should post in the belief that they have the right to express a particular view within the Agoracom rule regardless of gaining or losing point. I am told that many here that are not aware of the rating system and don't even participate.

My principle point is that I do not like rigged voting or any conspiracy by groups to attack individuals by affecting their scores. I would say that is a entirely different matter and totally against the Agoracoms principles and an action the devalues this board. It is a matter that needs to be dealt with by Agoracom staff to restore equilibrium.

To protect our long term leaders I for one would like to see Rob, FJ, Oogee, BCD, Rainer, appointed as board leaders and protected in the way Scary Racoon has been so that they are not dependent on retaing their rating score over 3.7 which appears to be the cut off point.
