Oh, there are a lot of semiconductor companies in Taiwan, WIN Semiconductors being one of them and of course TSMC, which is by far the largest semiconductor manufacturer in the world.
According to the Taiwan Semiconductor Industry Association (TSIA), it "has over 130 corporate and associate members, including companies engaged in semiconductor R & D, design, wafer manufacturing, packaging, testing, equipment and materials."
WIN could well be one of the dots to be connected. However, there are so many more potential dots in Taiwan and elsewhere that it might be a little rash to focus on one of them. I would leave the dots where they are, won't connect them, and just wait for news – no longer than 35 days until the Q2 report is due. And aside from that, news could come anytime.
