Half way thru July

In mid June I suggested that missing the June 30th deadline could present some volatility and perhaps a buying opportunity for those who, like me, came a bit later to PTK than 4 years ago.
July 1 came and went, and while I was right about the deadline being missed (Nostradamus level insight, right?), I have been pleasantly surprised by how modest the ensuing volatility has been.
I hear some complaining about the share price in the past two weeks and I wonder what people are thinking. The company MISSED the deadline, do you really expect the stock to trade UP on this outcome? Really? What planet does that happen on, and how soon can I move there?
I will continue to add shares every day in July, as I had orginally discussed, to my modest pile, but seriously, if a pullback to $1.40 is all the traders can muster--after missing a key deadline--then I think the traders have either lost their mojo, or have moved on to another story stock. And like it or not, PTK is a story stock.
Back in June, I figured the missed deadline would be good for some trouncing back down to $1.10. Well, I sure was wrong about that, which just goes to show how much I know about the short term future of squiggly lines.
But I do know one thing: I went to the AGM to gain some intel on the quality of the management of this company and I was duly impressed. The last few days some new DD has been brought to the attention of the community, and all of it very complicated stuff indeed.
I think of PTK like an iceberg. For every hurdle, conflict, and problem we here in the cheap seats are aware of, the management is probably dealing with 10 we haven't seen, probably don't understand, and if they can help it, will never need to know about. Yes, that's what they're paid for, but the lack of respect I hear around here lately is pitiful.
Someone called PC a used car salesman the other day. Well, you should have seen him at the AGM, he got a little choked up talking about all the missed hockey games and family time that this work has caused him. He was proud of his efforts, and walked off the stage with class and dignity, knowing that he was handing this company off to the next generation of management giants in the tech world. If you've been invested in PTK for 4 years, then this guy single-handedly SAVED your bacon, full stop.
Here's my suggestion: https://taichithoughts.wordpress.com/2013/05/09/tell-your-brain-a-nice-cup-of-stfu/
