In our case, its a chance or opportunity to provide a future generation or generations with a gift that belies any other. An asset passed to younger hands, hearts and minds. To help them build a better future for themselves , their immediate world and the greater world should it be able to.When my children were small, I spent many a day with them, admiring and smiling at their bright faces, minds brimming with potential, it was all we could do to teach the basics and to have the understand respect, courage, and determination. To encourage them to strive for the top, massage their defeats and dissapointments, all the while hoping to leave them a legacy of good works and something to pass along to their children.

The POET legacy is not unlike our own. The good doctors 30 year works will have tremendous effects on an entire industry, on the world as a whole. The merits of POET are numerous and varied. We have all seen the DD put forth by both the company and the many citizens of this forum. We all have a certain commited level of believe in what the product will do, how the world will be effected. In all that, there's the marketplace. If the product works as advertised, its legacy will be cemented in history. Its effects will be creep into the economics of industry or countries, into our own personal economies of scale.

To say we will be part of that legacy is an understatement, we participate as stockholders, consumers and as historians. We can and will say to our granchildren, as I have told them of televison and then colour televison, we will laugh at silly iphones that take only take 2 dimensional pictures and cell phones lasting hours on battery time rather than days. The development of Star Trek potential products, medical miracles, and all manner of unknown ideas brought to life. A legacy to industry, to humanity.

Legacy........ Just possibly the greatest and most encompassing one in recent history.....
