you could try to get one from LaFrance, probably for about $300 ($250 registration and some fees).
however, DTCC intends to dispose of 100% of paper share certificates, a process in the industry that's termed "dematerialization".
many issuers have already eliminated physical certificates entirely.
for example, even though they don't issue paper certificates anymore, you can get one 'replica' Intel paper share for $113 plus shipping & handling. but for trading purposes, it's not "real", it's worth as much as using a crayon & toilet paper to draw one.
the (legal) asset value is whatever the electronic registration has recorded.
