Many moons ago stacked chips were discussed at length. The inherent heat build up and dissipation issues make them problematic. There are excellent articles about this on that "web thing". However, since POET chips are rumoured to operate at virtually room temperature, if one was to stack any number of them together, then the increased computing power available would not be diminished because of heat. These specialized stacked POET chips would IMHO be ideal for large server applications. Perhaps someone could contact Google and let them know this might work. I'm sure Ajit may have said something to them a while back. Good day all. Derekwpg
