From the article; "Apple is one of only a handful of companies to hold an "architectural licence" to the ARM microprocessor architecture, meaning it can design its own ARM chps from scratch, not just incorporate ARM's existing CPU cores. That could allow Apple to create special ARM-based chips with special accelerators, co-processorss, or other unique features," ............ To me this is why Tony Blevins is on board. He is ensuring Apple positions itself so it can acquire the same type of architectural licence for POET. They then have the autonomy to make their own custom designed chipsets and pay royalties as required. Then enter bitcode. IMHO. Derekwpg
