Message: Poet Technologies Disruptive Technology May Soon be Acquired at a Hefty Premium

We really do have a disruptive technology that will replace existing paradigms and I for one don't see us being taken out.

A few year's ago, the plan was to wrap up Poet and put a pretty bow on top with a for sale sign that read $5 a share and its yours... That was before the late Adam Chowaniec found out what was happening and got involved, and were very fortunate that he did! His decades of experience in the semi-conductor world (both in the lab and in senior executive rolls) gave this company a guiding light that was badly needed at the time.

The ball quickly started rolling when the Special Strategic Committee was formed with the like's of Peisel, Rogers, Shepard, AC and then Stephane Gagnon joining shortly thereafter. All of the sudden we took the focus away from being for sale, to allowing this company to realize it's true potential.

Enter Ajit Manocha, the former head of Global Foundries and his plan for Fab 2.0. This concept alone make's it quite hard (but not completely impossible) for a takeover to happen. Toss in the SRP and it becomes even more durable.

Now fast forward to today. We have very recently poached some heavy hitters away from the upper board room's of this industry. They left behind wealth and security to join a little known company with roughly 15 employees. (I don't think they came to us for a quick cup of coffee and an even quicker payday, legacies are involved here!)

Add this all together and we have the making's of something special, something that when set up could make us all very wealthy and continue to payout for years to come with a licensing and royalty model! jmo
