I agree with you, Dash8400, but I don't think that this is necessarily bad news. Adjusting timelines and priorities to changing requirements is not a sign of things getting out of hands, but it could rather be a sign of high agility.

Agility is an absolute must, if you are exploring your path(s) through the business jungle, trying to find ways to bring your product to the market(s). It is not possible to do this according to a well-developed scheme, because you are doing it for the first time and there is no scheme. There are always more things you don't know than things you know, which requires you to continuously adapt everything (including timelines) to the experiences you are making. (Okay, this is a different mindset than many investors might be willing to agree with.)
