If you are a buyer and know the seller is in dire financial straits, why would you allow them to sell to you at a higher price? Don't we all want the cheapest prossible price for our shares when buying?
It's obvious Pinetree was waiting until the last possible minute to unload their shares, and were probably hoping for a Poet news release to dump into. That never came, so the buyer got a deal.
We have a new floor and support at 1.40 going forward.
Any news released now will have a bigger impact on the SP now that the Pinetree overhang has been removed.
