I think Broadcom has already wreaked a little havoc with shorters! Note the percentage short, where given, for these companies. Our 1-2% is not in their league. Someday, perhaps, but not now. Of course, as a percentage of the daily volume, our short position is somewhat more signficant.

Consider also, that the increase in Broadcom shorts may have been hedges placed by those that thought a deal might be coming, but figured a little insurance was appropriate.
