POET-ry In Motion: All this points out to me is that this is crappy communication coming from management, if we have to disect what they meant. Why couldn't they make it more clear, especially to those who do not speak english as a first language? Why be so ambiguous, almost better to not even talk about it?

For me (as a German) the message was pretty clear:

1. Nothing will happen until and including April, i.e. definitely no new CEO.
2. From May onwards anything could happen, i.e. a new CEO could come anytime or not at all.
