Folks, things are actually pretty easy to understand if you look at the wording of

"Final decisions are not expected to be made until May"

with an analytical mind.

What is the predicate (verb) "until May" is referring to? Is it "to be made"? No, it is not. The predicate is "expected". That means you can start expecting in or after May, but surely not before May. It does not mean your expectations will be fulfilled in May – or at all. A decision does not solely depend on POET Technologies, but also to the CEO candidate(s). Like it or not, but there's not guarantee for a successful completion of the CEO finding process.
