I wonder if ........someone possessed the next "thing". That thing could be the next "IT" and save an industry. Then with that thing in hand, they applied to an exchange for a more globally exposed and prestigous position . The exchange asked for documentation of its proven efficacy, and/or a demonstration. Excited at the prospect of the company becoming a crown jewel of an industry but also a potential either additional crown jewel to the exchange, or the "the" crown jewel of the exchange. The exchange, now possibly faced with the prospect of the company leaving and going to another prestigous exchange.......A special situation was created for the company to easily list in a shorter amount of time and with substantially less requirements. Therefore showcasing the company, the product and the exchange.
