Discoswede: The Ring Oscillator and VCSEL are requirements that haven't changed and still must be accomplished.

Well, at least as far as we know. However, we are not in a position to demand what must or must not be accomplished. It's the customer(s) or partner(s) or other external or internal circumstances.

It is theoretically possible that a partner says, "Okay, let's skip this ring oscillator and VCSEL stuff and let's get right on The Real XYZ instead." I am not saying that this is the case, but I am saying that this is theoretically possible. In such a case POET would very likely not reply, "no sorry, we can't change our plans, because our shareholders on Agoracom would be upset."
