Although the EE Times article linked above does not mention the word "POET", it is still not off-topic here. POET Technologies has developed some IP regarding quantum computing, possibly to be commercially deployed at some later point in time.
Please note that IBM's solution requires supercooling at a temperature of only 0.015 Kelvin above absolute zero, while POET's – hm, I hesitate to call it "solution" at this stage – would likely operate at room temperature.
