Bluecollardollar, I would love to agree with you but:
a) statistically massively good news almost never comes out on Fridays, though we could get a halt carried into Monday which I would always welcome.
b) What major news can we expect without the 2 milestones and prototypes completed, which were requested from a "multi-billion dollar company"? Peter said it himself:
34:40 – "Stephane talked about some of the partnerships that are due, some of the milestones that are due at the end of the quarter, the 50 GHz VCSEL, for instance. So that is from a multi-billion dollar company who came to us and said, “If you can do this in POET, we would be really interested in having serious conversations with you.” So we are getting ready to produce that technical milestone at the end of March. I would anticipate that that in itself is a great watershed moment for the company, and then the partnerships that come afterwards will be the start-off, the moment in time where POET really goes from just a concept in the fab to actual commercial companies investing their time and energy and money in our company."
I would welcome a massive surprise next week too as I have run out of time personally, but without the prototypes, I can't see anything earth shattering. Anything is possible though.
Everything will work out. It will just take a wee bit more time. Like I said earlier this week, I think people got too ahead of themselves on what to expect this week and next in terms of deals or a buyout, etc. when the BNN interview was cancelled. I was given the third degree for suggesting so, though it was nice to see many agree with me on that thought. Our time will come though...
