couldn't sleep...

...so a couple of thoughts on the comments tonight, and I'm not picking on anyone in particular, more like everyone a little bit.
Smitty90...you said it has been an interesting month, if I had a nickel for everytime I'd heard that over the last several years I wouldn't need to be in this stock. This technology has been an education to me, for a lot longer than a month, it almost makes me mad that I 've had to share with those who just showed up, but that's how money is made in the market; the late comers riding on the backs of those who did all of the hard work. And by that I'm not referring to myself, but those who have been here longer than I. There is no need to mention their names, they know who they are, and I raise my glass to them. We didn`t always agree, but they were always helpful when questions were raised and instrumental in my remaining a shareholder.
There will always be shorts in a stock like this, and they will make some money, but I agree their numbers will dwindle in the coming weeks. No, they will not drive the stock because the stock is simply the most amazing piece of technological advancement since Moore started putting transistors on sand. Yes, short covering will help its' advancement, duh.
Valuation: well, we've beaten this to death, but finally, apparently, we are about to find out how big this boat is. My views are well known and I stand by them, but I could be wrong and the company could be sold out from underneath us tomorrow....but I still do NOT believe that will happen and that PC and co. will proceed down the path that AC (rip), I'm convinced, talked them into.
I really hope that someone on the BoD writes a book about the last 4 years so we can hear what really happened, and whose speculation was closest to the truth (just for fun).
Finally, in the coming weeks I hope that we can maintain the decorum that has been the trademark of our presence on Agoracom; everyone, good and bad, has a place here, some in the banned pile, but most, even if not contributing greatly, at least showing up to practice. I've developed a few relationships here which I will always value and look forward to putting names to faces in Vegas.
Speaking of which, has anyone come up with a market cap for POET that wil trigger the Vegas event? I talked to my brother about it, who I coerced into investing here and he suggest when we cross $10B, but that is a long way from here; any ideas?
Good night/morning (for our Euro friends).
