I agree, POET is just too powerful for one company to own it and keep it to themselves. In my last post I wrote "POET should UTILITIZE the our technolgy. Meaning that everyone is going to need it like natural gas and electricity and it has to be shared. Basiscally I'm refering to data farm/centers (royalties to POET) as one example. Could the government require InGaAs to keep the environment green. Same with all the cell phone batteries we'll (as a people) save with the low power demands of POET Tech.

Anyway whoever owns POET will control the world! Anti-trust legislation. Share the tech and keep pricing comparable to what the market pays now and add some for the improved performance. The government work, mostly defense dept.'s need to be monitored but will be very valuable. The US will probably just comandeer it, but pay the 100's of billions it's worth.
