generally what happens when the buying or selling is lopsided, Market makers ( market manipulators ie. TD) will jump in to soften the blow, thus adding liquidity for the buyers/sellers depending on the direction of the swing.

After the extreme buying or selling subsides somewhat, MM's will correct their lopsided short/long positions by buying or selling into the market, thus with every big swing there will be a bounce either way.

Most of us here are long and betting on the extreme buying to kick in once the NRs are out. Although small, the short position will help to accelerate the buying, WHEN it happens.
