Message: The Agenda of Joel

The bottom line is that it does not matter whether Joel Hruskra is 100% on board with the potential of POET or not. It does not matter at all. I suspect one day he will write about POET and imply that he discovered it early on. Once again, who cares. I do find one thing ironic though. His comment "The press release from POET itself makes it clear that the company's current solutions that it hopes will be adopted by the mass market aren't ready for deployment yet." So is he saying it is not worth writing about as it is not ready yet for deployment? I ask then why is he writing the article about IBM which includes "I’d guess we’re at least five years from mainstream adoption and 7-10 years before the technology becomes widespread." Seems a bit inconsistent, and confirms a hidden agenda. Perhaps Joel could include facts and back-up this statement "Nonetheless, POET's current technology is not suited to any kind of HPC or industrial application." That is not going to happen.

Good luck!!
