Silly article... there will ALWAYS be a need to do professional work with large, separate keyboards, (multiple) monitors, and user-configurable CPUs, with RAID drives for storage, and external, daisy-chained peripherals. There's just no good way to do professional graphics, edit broadcast-quality video (or to design chips for that matter) with a finger-swipeable tablet. Maybe the desktop market will contract somewhat, but it will never go away.
