Let's remember that PC said licensing was the road forward a year ago. A year ago he didn't have anything to sell and no offers on the table. It seems time has changed a lot of things.
In a matter of weeks they suggest they will have proven technology with a high level of interest from a multi billion dollar company.
They will have something many people will want. We could easily name a dozen multi billion dollar companies who would want to control this disruptive technology and willing and capable of paying for the privilege.
Apple, Google, Samsung, Intel for starters.
As far as legacy, let's think about that.
Dr. Taylor has worked on this for thirty years as a scientist and is approaching senior years. He has worked like many of us for a salary. The thought of cashing a cheque for many millions in the next six months might be very attractive to him and his legacy may well include a Nobel prize.
Ajit Manocha's legacy is already intact and he recently came out of retirement to assist in monetizing POET. A multi billion dollar sale might satisfy that goal. With two million shares @ $50.00+ his grandchildren's grandchildren would be well taken care of.
PC is soon to leave POET as a new President is named. I think he said he has 4 million shares. Do the math at $50.00+ per share and he has more than done his job and secured a legacy.
I really will be amazed if we are not taken out in six months or less.
