As someone who speaks and presents for a living nearly every day - to a wide host of audiences - I offer the following friendly observations.
I'm sure the presentation was technically correct and accurate, but it certainly could have been more polished and done smoother. The speaker needed better conversational transitions between bullets, and slides, and in many instances he could have chosen different important points of emphasis.
These points of emphases would have been helped along by simple and clean graphics/slides that differentiated and compared Poet's chip attributes to silico, such as; cost, heat, speed, power, small space, use of existing fabs, etc...
Not to be too critical but what was really missing was a clear, concise and easily remembered take-away message, preferrably provided on one slide. The participants seemed to have copies of the slides in front of them but unless they made the right kind of "take-away" notes, that message was susceptible to misinterpretation.
I certainly "got" the messages of the presentation - and they were real and confirming for me. But as I watched all 40+ minutes, I could not help but wonder whether I got the message because I know Poet.....what if I did not know Poet?
In any case, this is a gigantic step forward for the marketing of the technology. I hope it translates into upward movement of the SP.....
