I do love the 40 nm news. I make things for a living (inventor) and I know there is always the possibility of an unforseen, problem getting in the way of successful completion. Especially when breaking new ground, like POET is (3rd party foundry). I do think the confirmation of the 40 nm milestone did increase the intrinsic value of our company, never the less, predicting the increase of the sp is a whole nother thing (is that a word? - nother. It's not underlined in red so I'll take it). Although I didn't expect a quantum leap (no pun intended), sp is not moving that much. I guess I'll leave sp predictions to others. I will accept the term "new innovation", in the context of innovating work on an innovation. That may be what POET meant. Actually the lack significant sp movement may allow me to make another purchase. I do think it is still oversold and a bargan at these prices. (40 nm GaAs= 28 nm Silicon) They might have learned a lot about node size reduction in GaAs that might go on to simplify further node reductions.
