In re-reading Poet's announcement that one of Ajit Manocha's jobs is "to identify a permanent CEO for the Company" (my bold), I'm wondering does it have to be someone new, or could it be Peter Copetti?

He's independently wealthy, he has been intimately involved with the company through the bad and good, and at this point he can certainly see what POet is and all the possibilities of where Poet is headed.

Has Peter indicated that he is willing to step down/aside, or is he still in the mix?

Would he be the best person available? Why? Why not?

Disclaimer - I have no vested interest in whether Peter is CEO or not. He's done very well so far and may even be the guy to take Poet forward....but maybe not, as well.
