Maing: "Do you think it was announced Friday so that it would impact news on Monday?"

Thought about this too. Was it an intentional leak to minimize the impact, something the shorts and MMs would be apt to do? But then again, how large is the short position? Is it large enough to muffle any news? This strategy could backfire with the "official" release of the POET video which will likely be followed very closely by an another announcement of some consequence.

Maybe I am over-analyzing things a bit. I am just grateful for another validation.
