Fairchij: What is interesting to me is that the optical interface was in my mind always considered to be the first significant market for POET with mobile applications coming later. This commercial is directed squarely at the much bigger mobile market.

Having those mobile devices being shown in the video doesn't necessarily mean they will come first. The average investor doesn't understand what an optical interface might be and he doesn't have the slightest idea what it could mean in terms of money.

On the other hand everyone knows what a smartphone, tablet etc. is and how widespread these things are. So they are ideal for being shown in the video

You still might be correct in that optical interfaces might be the first low-hanging fruits.
