I'm trying to understand all the stuff that has been posted re Sheldon and Pintree and its potemtial impact on POET. IF Pinetree is a "canary" what does today's high volume sale off of Pinetree mean?
- Shorts taking vengence?
- Shareholders don't believe POET will soon come to the Pinetree rescue?
- People who think Sheldon has shafted them in the past getting even?
- Pinetree just a crappy stock?
- something totally unrelated
I though that before this Pinetree thing happened that we would have news the morning after Apple's financial review (ie today). My GUESS was that Apple's engineering team has been working with POET the past year and that once the Apple call was done Apple and Poet would announce. I still am Guessing that Apple will do something with POET but given the Sheldon/Pintree smell test doubt that if Apple is buying the Pinetree shares that that will be announced for a few weeks. Distance themselves from Pinetree's notice so that Apple and POET have less risk of litigation.
