Bits and Pieces

Its been a busy week around here, whilst it appears to have been quiet on the PTK news front.
I am finally catching some of the last two days of posts.
Just wanted clear up some business before the weekend. My opinion and my opinions only herein. Some speculation or what may be perceived as speculation contained within as well. Apologies for any spelling and grammar issues, I am in a rush to get to a function.
-Hub Leader Nomination
An enormous and respectful thank you to TPower for his kind mention. Another thank you to all of those who considered it and/or gave me a thumbs up. Your consideration is much much appreciated. Although there maybe as some do think merit in my being there, I am not sure that I can add anything more than what is ably, aptly, and more than greatly presented to us by the existing leadership. Additionally my personal work related time constraints would play havoc with the ability to be fully involved. It could be said I am already a hub leader in a way with a full division of 200 plus employees and yearly sales of well over 7 figures. But thank you all again, its great to be associated with such a fantastic board.
-Share Price
Much consternation with the share price currently and lack of news. Theres not too much more I can say thats not already been said. In this game, and especially with technology, it requires great patience, and understanding of the business and legal structure and security infrastructure of any company.Add to this the factors of being or having a startup designation and its a completely new and revolutionary technology. The public will have to "learn" it and get a palpable and tactile feeling for it and with it, as well. Right now, and until our game changing series of news releases start, its just a sandbox toy being thrown about amongst the local children. Patience is a virtue and surely some us with our arduously long waits our now virginal in our mentality. I suffer with you some days, but I take complete solace in the facts as presented, the management team and especially your hub leadership here. All solid, all steadfast and all with an eye to the near, near future. Be brave, be patient and you shall be enriched. I know it sounds a trifle trite, but believe me having worked with many successful investors, and millionaires, this game requires foresight, patience and confidence. Ask any Buffetologist.
-Respect
Let me say here, I am not a psychologist. I have completed a few courses in marketing psychology. buying habits, etc. I do however understand the temperature here on the board and the descension within the ranks. Many of you thought that things would be a bit further ahead ? yes ?...by now ? So nerves are frayed, minds are swayed, goals are unmet, expectations ....well.....expectations....hmmm. Its those expectations again, we all have them. We expect our lives to go as we envisoned or planned them. NO.......we demand they do ! Usually those expectations are unreal and unrealistic, adding to the problem. In the case of PTK we follow the company with an eye to their published news and develop expectations based on what they say. Completely fair and reasonable I say. However, as in most things in our lives, we must temper these expectations with logic and dicipline, a tad bit of common sense in there as well. Some would call this "big picture" mentality. Most millionaires have these traits and abilities. But thats for another post. If I can express a wish for you all, is that respect, demeanor, patiences, and decorum rule the day here. Keep it as fine a place as it has been and work to improve it to an even better status.
-The Brand
I can't say enough about the brand. "Powered by Poet" is such a strong statement, it evokes an image of strength, of curiosity and especially of durability. Its says that anything else that powers you is "not POET, not strong, and of questionable origin. Once the name and brand starts to mainstream, the brand will strengthen further and become part of the common vernacular as an Apple, Intel or Coca Cola is now. In Powered by Poet we have axis points that align with many of the qualities you want in a branding. Maybe not known well at the moment, within a short time it will become known and certainly as the months and years go by, PBP will become pantheonic and with a little luck even iconic. The biggest advantage, other than all the great features and benefits it will offer to the end user, is the common public consumer will be driving the product and brand and all its resultant effects into a social media(s) arena. Viral will have a new meaning.
Have a great weekend everyone !
