Yes, mackwheaton, stars and thumbs are not everything. The number of posts also matters as well as possibly other factors. Agoracom states somewhere that the complete algorithm is kept confidential. Anyway, without stars and thumbs you won't get anywhere, at least not on this board.

But then you still have your real life, at least I hope so.
