Well, let us see. It will depend on the size of the future POET team, their promotion and licencing strategy as well as on potential partners in such a product. I can imagine that POET will take one or the other opportunity for an "own product" as a kind of flag ship. Products which can only be developed with POET. They should do this just in case of a low hanging fruit with an highly innovative idea. It would be a POET product, but produced and even marketed and sold by others.

As an example: The opto-electrical network connection cable, where the electric signals will be transfered into optical inside the tiny plug - and vis versa. The POET plug. Not just a plug PbP.
