Jack - In using the example of the investor looking to invest 500K into PTK, I believe that:
- This investor already has skin in the game as FJ mentioned. This means that he probably already has a significant position in the company.
- Given that the outcome of PTK still remains somewhat binary at this stage, he would rather await further clarity before injecting additional cash.
- This to me represents a more conservative (and in many cases smarter) way of investing.
- If the expectation is that once NEWS starts to flow PTK will move up into much higher ranges, purchasing additional shares at 3$ vs. 1.28$ (with less certainty) still remains a bargain; especially if the nominal gains are still significant (and in investing 500K they still would be).
This investor as FJ mentioned is already invested which changes ones stratetegy. I'm sure once things get going many large investors will either make their initial move or increase their positions.
My two cents,
