Possible but I doubt it very much.

PC was very specific at the AGM. He stated that POET will list on the NASDAQ "but only from a position of strength."

Later asked if that meant with a deal in hand, the reply was confirmed.

The reverse split is nothing more than an "insurance" to ensure POET does list on the NASDAQ following news of strength.
