Not likely. The next big scandal will be how these bulbs are dying out rapidly. The reason? not the LEDs...: Chinese capacitors. Every LED bulb or fixed light has a motherboard and on it are capacitors. Remember about 10 years ago when Apple had the swollen capacitor troubles with iMacs? Dell also had similar problems at that time.
There is no quality control at the Chinese factories that make these things, which cost pennies. There are just a handful of companies that even make them anymore, and they are in power supplies of every sort.
I predict that the first indication of the industry recognition of this problem will be the disappearance of the multi-decade warranty from packaging.
