Yes, milestones have been moved, but we expected that, didn't we?

My interpretation is that they incorporated new or improved stuff into the "lab-to-fab" process and into the PDK in order to optimize the process and/or the results.

And again we are hinted that they develop both 40 nm and 100 nm in parallel: "completion and optimization of development on 100 and 40-nm foundation devices".

A key statement in my opinion is: "Some of our milestones have had to evolve during 2014 because of industry relationship considerations and priorities." Yes, the above means that everything takes longer than originally planned, but it should be worth the effort, because it satisfies customers' needs.

The financially strong position helps in doing so, because they are not under time pressure from that side.
