So......we have a logo and a trademark. It would be undignified for me to say it, but I will anyway, this is (as my British military trained father would say) now....... in my theater of operation, and a real expertise. Marketing is my background.I am just so excited !

So allow me to quickly (my times limited tonight) try and put even more degree of credence and importance on this great find by Oogee !

We are all familiar with "Intel Inside" and its popular exposure in the modern technology culture. Along with Apple, Mcdonalds, Coca Cola, Hot Wheels, etc. Branding, trademarking and logo creation are critical to any company with a product or service to promote. It tells you what they do, or what they make, and what they can do for you, the customer. Companies in their infancy can spend thousands on brand awareness and development along with patents, logos, trademarks etc. Mature companies spend millions protecting it, and developing it.

So why such a big step for PTK ?

-You don't spend this kind of money to protect, promote, and market a product if there is no product to protect and promote. Read this any way you like, but to me it says..... they have achieved their goals.

-In making a bold statement such as "Powered by Poet". You are effectively outting yourself in a large way....and putting yourself in the pantheon of technology trademarks. Intel, Samsung, Sony, Apple, Google, Oracle, Microsoft, Yahoo, Amazon, You tube...all billion dollar brands...all identifiable within a range of products and services. Soon POET's will be as well.

I will add this to his salient comments. Not only will the end customer be using our products and branding, he can use the advantageous metrics POET generously will provide to maximize the "Powered by POET" brand for himself. AKA....if sales numbers lag in one area, POET can be used to optimize the new sector as it did with the a previous sector product. The public will recognize the immediate benefits of the product based on a previous product experience. Sales will go up.....and then will justify the fact that POET will then move to usage in other lines.....Much like a Domino effect.

-I also suspect the reason it has not been "Official" is that the management team is waiting for the appropriate time or does not think it important enough because of what they have or may have ready to in terms of higher importance and better news worthiness.

Such an exciting development !
